How to Send Feedback or Corrections to VietnamQuest

If something on a page is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will check it.

If a page on VietnamQuest has something out of date or wrong, message us on WhatsApp with the page name, the sentence and a link or screenshot. We check it at the source and update the page when the source supports your report.

What should a correction message include?

Four details help us most:

  • The page: its title or web address.
  • The sentence: copy the line that looks wrong.
  • What you found: the newer fact, in your own words.
  • The source: a link, a photo of a notice or a screenshot, if you have one.

You do not need to be sure. “This looks different now” is enough to start a check.

How do we check a report?

Every fact on our pages lists where it came from and the date we last checked it. When a report arrives, we go back to that source and look for a more recent or official version. If the page is wrong we update it and the check date. If the source still agrees with the page, we can send you the link.

Things that change quickly, such as prices, opening hours and entry rules, are the most likely to need updates. For entry rules, always use the official channels; see checking Vietnam entry rules from official sources.

What is feedback, and what is a correction?

A correction says a fact is wrong. Feedback says a page did not help enough, such as a missing question, a confusing section or a route that did not suit your group. Both are useful. Tell us who you travelled with and in which month, since a route that works for a couple may not suit a family with young children.

What should you not send?

Please do not send passport numbers, payment details or other people’s private information. We do not need them to check a fact. If you want a personal quote or route plan, say so, and we will move to a normal enquiry; see what to include in a package enquiry.

What is the next step?

Open the page with the problem, note the sentence and message us. If you are still planning, our route chooser and Vietnam trip cost guide are good places to begin. More guidance sits in Booking and travelling well.

If you spotted something that looks wrong or have a trip detail that would help the next reader, send it to us on WhatsApp with the page name.

Common questions

How do I report an outdated fact?

Message us on WhatsApp using the button on any page. Tell us the page name, the sentence that looks wrong and, if you can, a link or screenshot of the newer information. The more specific you are, the faster we can check it against the official source.

What happens after I send a correction?

We compare your report with the original source and, where possible, an official one. If the page is wrong we update it and refresh the check date. If the source still agrees with the page, we may reply with the link so you can see it.

Can I share feedback about a trip I took?

Yes, we welcome it. Tell us which page helped, where it fell short and what you would have liked to know. Please do not send other people's personal details. We use trip feedback to improve guides, not to publish your name.

Do you accept corrections from suppliers or agencies?

We read them. A supplier correction is checked the same way as any other, against an official or independent source. We do not change a page only because a business asks. Send the source, and we will look at it.
